Dean leads our Commercial Group. His focus includes providing legal advice to companies and businesses including transactional work, negotiating agreements, dispute resolution and commercial litigation. He appears in court as an advocate and has extensive experience in the conduct of complex commercial litigation.

Dean has been recognised by the Law Society of New South Wales as a specialist in commercial litigation.

His clients include businesses from sole traders to public companies, professional practices, manufacturers and the service industry. He is the trusted advisor of various registered clubs, charities and sporting associations and was a director of the Southern Sydney Business Enterprise Centre for many years (a not for profit organisation aimed at assisting local businesses).

Background

Between 1987 and 1994, Dean worked at the global accountancy and advisory firm Price Waterhouse Coopers in their Business Services, Taxation and Insolvency Divisions.

Dean completed a Commerce Degree majoring in accountancy at the University of New South Wales in 1991, a Law Degree at the University of Technology, Sydney in 1994 and a Masters Degree in Law from the University of New South Wales in 2000, specialising in Corporate and Commercial Law.

Dean commenced employment with WMD Law in 1995 and joined the firm as a partner in 1996.
